Introducing Responder Care

Responder Care was founded by Paul McFarlane, a leader in crisis leadership and workplace wellbeing.

For more than three decades, Paul has worked across healthcare, chaplaincy, and mental health leadership, supporting people in high-pressure environments where decisions matter.

He has served on the frontline as Senior Chaplain with NSW Ambulance, supporting paramedics and community members through major incidents, workplace deaths, and community tragedies - including the 2014 Lindt Café siege in Sydney.

Today, through Responder Care, Paul works alongside business owners and organisational leaders to help them navigate workplace crisis, manage psychosocial risk, and support their teams through difficult situations.

His approach is practical and grounded in frontline experience - helping leaders think clearly, respond well, and support their teams when it matters most.

“I’ve walked alongside first responders through some of Australia’s toughest moments. I bring that same care and insight to help you support your people.”

Leading people can become complex and demanding. You don’t have to carry that responsibility alone.

Responder Care works alongside business owners to help them navigate people challenges, manage psychosocial risk, and lead their teams with greater clarity and confidence.
